Soothing Dental’s Restorative Dentistry Services
Restorative dentistry refers to the procedures and treatments that help fix broken or missing teeth. Dr. Vinton cares about each patient’s well-being, and he does a great job restoring teeth so you can have excellent oral health again. Even if one or more teeth come out, he can offer four different tooth replacement options and help you decide which one is right for you.
Teeth Replacement Options
- Same-Day Dental Crowns. If you have a damaged or weakened tooth that can no longer function well, you may be a good candidate for a crown. It strengthens and protects the damaged tooth, completely restoring its function.
- Bridges. Dental bridges fill a gap in your mouth with one or more replacement teeth. They are attached to two crowns covering the adjacent teeth on either side of the gap. Bridges are also less expensive than other tooth-replacement solutions like dental implants.
- Dental Implants. Dental implants can mimic tooth roots by using a titanium post surgically implanted into your jaw bone. After the implant heals, a prosthetic tooth is attached. Dental implants are the best option for longevity and look just like your natural teeth. Good candidates for dental implants have good oral hygiene and an absence of gum disease. Dr. Vinton will work closely with your dental implant surgeon to ensure the best possible result. After your implant has healed. You will return to Soothing Dental to have your permanent crown attached.
- Dentures (Full or partial). Dentures are removable replacement teeth that are designed to fit your mouth. You can get a full set of dentures to replace all your teeth or a removable partial denture to fit in the places where your teeth are missing. Dentures are a good option if you are missing all or most of your teeth.
